Gandalf is a male that a friend purchased to show. When that didn't happen, he was offered to us. He is a correct guy with a great temperament and is a working Property Guardian. He is not super tall but is getting quite thick. He loves children.
Gandalf is an interesting color and many people have asked if he is an Alaskan Malamute or a husky mix. Gandalf is 100% CAO (as proven in his Embark) and is genetically a black and tan dog. He has the domino gene, which is also found in Malamutes and Huskies so it is no surprise people get confused. It is common in CAO along with the grizzle gene and both create a similar phenotype that washes out black coloring. Gandalf is also long coated.
